The RFL100 street & area lighting series is growing
Following the successful introduction of the RFL110 post-top luminaire, the new RFL120 now expands the range as a larger and more powerful version. It opens up additional applications where higher lumen packages are required. The timeless circular design of the RFL120 seamlessly continues the visual language of its sister model. Both sizes are designed for today’s and future urban environments – for lighting streets, pathways and public spaces with reliable performance, modular flexibility and future-ready smart city capabilities.
The housing of the RFL120 features a flat, circular design with a diameter of 510 mm, compared to 420 mm for the RFL110. Its precise contours and balanced proportions allow it to integrate harmoniously into both urban and natural environments. The durable construction ensures reliable operation and long-lasting aesthetics. “Ready to Connect” variants are available to enable seamless integration into intelligent lighting systems. The RFL120 offers ten light distributions, ranging from asymmetric side throw to forward rectangular, as well as dedicated distributions for pedestrian crossings. The lighting system is based on rectangular LED modules. Individual modules can be rotated in 90° increments or combined into hybrid optics to tailor light distributions to specific applications. This flexibility, combined with lumen packages of up to 24,800 lm, makes the RFL120 a powerful tool for urban lighting. Whether used for boulevards, central plazas or busy main roads, the RFL120 delivers compliant, efficient and safe lighting – and, together with the smaller RFL110, enables consistent urban lighting concepts with a uniform design language. All luminaires in the RFL100 family feature IP66-rated housings made of marine-grade die-cast aluminium with WE‑EF’s proven 5CE superior corrosion protection, PCS-coated stainless steel hardware and anti-reflective safety glass. These post-top luminaires are designed for decades of operation and ensure optimal performance even in demanding environments. A wide range of intelligent control and connectivity options are available, from Eco Step Dim® to DALI2 integration. “Ready to Connect” (R2C) versions with Zhaga Book 18 interfaces allow the integration of nodes for wireless networks. Another option is WE‑EF’s Wild-Light technology, which reduces environmental impact and light pollution.
